Prof. PAULO SENTELHAS
is an agronomist, with master, PhD and post-doc in agrometeorology. He is Full Professor at ESALQ/USP since 1996, where he advise undergrad, grad and post-doc students. He is also professor of MBA programs of PECEGE/USP and SolloAgro and in Master program in Agrobusiness of Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He is a research fellow of CNPq (Level 1 A), Editor-in-chief of Scientia Agricola, and a board member of the Strategic Committee Soybean Brazil (CESB). Also, is CTO of Agrymet and consultant of agrometeorology of several private companies in Brazil. He is author of more than 220 papers published in scientific journals and In 2019 he received the Westfalen Prize of the Brazilian Society of Agrometeorology for the relevant services done in favor of agrometeorology research in Brazil.

Prof. FRED BELOW
is a Professor of Crop Physiology in the Department of Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois. His research is focused on understanding factors limiting crop productivity, particularly corn and soybean. He has taught introductory crops courses to undergraduates, as well as advanced courses to graduate students, and given numerous presentations at international and national conferences, and at local meetings. He has received numerous awards for his teaching excellence and he is a Fellow of the American Society of Agronomy. He developed the ‘Seven Wonders of The Corn Yield World’ and the ‘Six Secrets of Soybean Success’ as tools to teach farmers and agricultural professionals the value of their individual crop management decisions, and he is actively using these concepts to develop systems capable of sustainably producing high corn and soybean yields.
